On February 5, 1985, Ronaldo was born in Madeira, Portugal, the child of Jose Dinis Aveiro and Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro. During his childhood, his father worked for the municipality as a gardener and his mother as a cook. He was the youngest son of four children.
